Delete Account
Recipe Check is developed and operated by Bluegrass Media Inc. Users with a Recipe Check account can request account deletion from inside the mobile app or by contacting support@recipecheck.net. This page is the public web deletion request link for app store data deletion requirements.
In-App Path
Inside the mobile app, sign in, go to Profile, then Account, then Delete Account. The app will ask for confirmation before sending the deletion request.
What Deletion Will Cover
- Account profile and login-linked identifiers.
- Saved goals, recent recipe grade history, and cloud-synced app data.
- Stored recipe text, typed meals, recipe links, recipe photos, and ingredient label images associated with the account, where applicable.
- Analytics or support records tied to the account unless retention is legally required or needed for security.
How To Request Deletion
Email support@recipecheck.net with the subject "Delete Recipe Check Account" from the email address connected to the account. Signed-in users can also start deletion from Profile, then Account, then Delete Account.
Timing
Deletion requests are expected to be completed within 30 days after identity verification unless a longer period is required by law, payment records, fraud-prevention, security, dispute handling, or backup integrity. Recipe Check will send confirmation when deletion is complete.
What May Be Retained
Recipe Check may retain limited records required for legal compliance, tax or payment records, refund or billing support, fraud prevention, security investigations, backup recovery, or enforcement of the Terms. Apple or Google subscription cancellation must be managed through the user's Apple or Google account settings.
Local App Data
Users can remove local device data by uninstalling the app or clearing local app storage. Subscription cancellation, once available, must be handled through Apple or Google account settings.
