Developer

Recipe Check is developed and operated by Bluegrass Media Inc.

Service

Recipe Check gives general nutrition estimates for recipes, ingredients, menu items, snacks, drinks, and typed food descriptions. Grades are based on available information and may be incomplete when quantities, serving sizes, or ingredients are unclear. Recipe Check is designed to help users think about food quality before eating, not to track calories or provide medical nutrition therapy.

Health And Nutrition Disclaimer

Recipe Check provides general nutrition guidance for informational purposes only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified health professional for medical, dietary, allergy, weight-loss, or disease-related guidance. Results may be incomplete or inaccurate, especially when recipes lack full quantities, serving sizes, ingredient labels, or nutrition details.

Not A Calorie Tracker

Recipe Check is focused on food quality grades before eating. It does not promise exact calories, macros, diet records, or medical nutrition plans.

No Medical Or Guaranteed Outcome Claims

Recipe Check does not guarantee weight loss, reverse disease, cure inflammation, provide medically accurate diagnosis, or claim doctor approval. App grades and recommendations are estimates and should not be used for emergency, allergy, disease-specific, or medical decisions.

No Allergen Or Ingredient Safety Guarantee

Recipe Check does not guarantee allergen detection or ingredient safety. Users must review ingredient labels, allergen warnings, cross-contact risks, sodium, sugar, gluten, dairy, nuts, and other ingredient concerns before eating.

Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to use Recipe Check. Recipe Check is not directed to children under 13 and should not be marketed as a children's or family nutrition app.

HIPAA And Health Data

Recipe Check is not designed for use by healthcare providers, health plans, healthcare clearinghouses, or their business associates, and it does not claim to be HIPAA compliant. Do not upload medical records or use Recipe Check as a medical record system.

User Responsibility

Subscriptions

Recipe Check is currently offered as a free mobile app without active subscription purchasing. Paid digital features may be added later and will show current pricing, trial terms, renewal details, and cancellation information before purchase. Mobile app subscriptions for digital features will be handled through Apple In-App Purchase or Google Play Billing. Stripe should not be used inside the mobile app for premium digital tiers distributed through the app stores.

Ads And Tracking

The free launch build may show Google AdMob banner ads. Recipe Check should use non-personalized ad requests where possible and should not target ads based on health goals. If personalized app tracking is introduced, users must be asked for permission where required.
